Link to the Humanist Action Headquarters

If you click on the block where it says America needs the Do No Harm Act once you’re at the website, they’ll give you the option to send Senator Rubio and Senator Scott a message about the Do No Harm Act.

In the years since the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA) was enacted in 1993 the far-right has been misusing it to weaponize religion. The Do No Harm Act would restore the do no harm principle of the First Amendment to make sure no one can use their religion to deny OTHER people their civil rights.

In case you’d prefer to call our Florida senators to ask them to please support the Do NO Harm Act, here is their phone numbers:
Sen. Marco Rubio
Jax: 354-4300

Sen. Rick Scott
Jax: 479-7227

The link (see above) allows you to adjust what the Humanist Action Headquarters sends to Senators Rubio and Scott for you.  Please consider adding this to the message:

In addition to supporting the Do No Harm Act, please also support the Violence Against Women Act. The U.S. House has passed H.R. 1620. The legislation now moves to the Senate for consideration. H.R. 1620 will not only reauthorize funding for VAWA’s existing programs but will also establish new policies to help abuse victims remain in stable housing and expand red-flag laws to block people convicted of dating abuse or stalking from accessing guns.

In addition to supporting the Do No Harm Act and the Violence Against Women Act, please support H.R.1/S.1 which addresses corruption, protects voting rights, and reforms campaign finance. It should be bipartisan to make our democracy better for all Americans.
